Resumption of flights to China as a central point
Air France’s Summer Flight Schedule 2023 kicks off with exciting new routes to Asia. The resumption of regular flights to China is a significant sign that the airline has put the pandemic behind it, at least regarding flight offerings. Starting from July 1, Air France will offer daily flights to Peking, Shanghai, and Hong Kong. Meanwhile, Tokyo will also see an increase in flight frequencies, with 11 flights per week to Tokyo Haneda and three flights per week to Tokyo Narita.
On the North American front, Air France has planned 180 weekly flights to 14 US cities and 50 flights to five Canadian cities during the summer season. In Africa, Air France is adding a new destination – Dar Es Salaam, while in the Caribbean, the airline is launching a new route between Cayenne (French Guiana) and Belém (Brazil).
Aside from its long-haul destinations, Air France is also increasing its short and medium-haul flights with 106 French and European destinations. The airline aims to connect other French airports with important destinations as well.
Johannesburg will be the next to receive Air France’s new cabin product
Earlier this year, Air France announced its new full-flat, full-access, and full-privacy cabin product, which will be installed in twelve of its Boeing 777-300ER aircraft to replace the outdated cabin design. Dubbed “Full-Flat, Full-Access, and Full-Privacy,” passengers can expect a significantly upgraded experience on board. However, these revamped planes will only be available on select routes, including Paris Charles de Gaulle to New York JFK, Rio de Janeiro, and Dakar.
With the Summer Flight Schedule 2023, Air France is adding Johannesburg as the next destination to feature its new cabin product. Starting from March 27, 2023
