Latam Airlines Unveils Direct Flight: Foz do Iguaçu to Lima

Travel enthusiasts are in for a treat as Latam Airlines announces a direct flight connecting Foz do Iguaçu in Brazil and Lima in Peru. This new route is expected to significantly boost tourism and travel convenience between two of South America’s most captivating destinations.

Launch of New Direct Flight

Latam Airlines, a major South American airline, has announced a new direct flight service between Foz do Iguaçu, a tourist hotspot in Brazil, and Lima, the bustling capital of Peru. The route is set to commence in November, operating three times a week – Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. The flights, serviced by Airbus A319 and A320 aircraft, will have a capacity to carry up to 174 passengers.

Travel Time and Schedule

The flight from Foz do Iguaçu is set to depart at 08:00 local time on operation days, with a flight duration of approximately four hours and five minutes. Return flights from Lima are scheduled to leave at 00:40 local time on the same days, offering travelers a seamless connection between the two destinations.

Exploring Foz do Iguaçu

Foz do Iguaçu, located in Brazil’s Paraná state, is a popular starting point for excursions to the spectacular Iguaçu Falls. These border-straddling waterfalls, among the world’s largest, stretch over a length of 2.7 kilometers, plunging in hundreds of cascades, including the towering 80-meter “Devil’s Throat.”

Lima, Peru’s capital, is a vibrant metropolis situated on the country’s arid Pacific coastline. As one of South America’s largest cities, Lima boasts a well-preserved colonial-era center, offering tourists a rich blend of history and modern attractions.
