Upgraded Premium Services on the Way to Bangkok

Lufthansa’s winter schedule reveals that the A380 will commence daily flights from Munich to Bangkok on October 28. The flight times are as follows:

  • LH 772 | Munich – Bangkok | Departure 22:20, Arrival 14:55 next day

From October 5, Lufthansa will also deploy the A380 on the Munich-Los Angeles route to accommodate high demand:

The A380 offers a 75% increase in seat capacity compared to the A350. It accommodates 509 passengers, with 8 First Class and 78 Business Class seats in the upper deck, and 52 Premium Economy seats. Tickets for these new A380 routes are available for booking now.

Expanded Indian Destinations

Lufthansa is also broadening its flights to India. The airline will introduce a new route from Munich to Bangalore using the fuel-efficient Airbus A350-900. Additionally, Hyderabad will be reconnected to Frankfurt after a hiatus. In winter 2023, Lufthansa will operate flights to five Indian destinations from Frankfurt and Munich hubs. More flight plan details will be released in mid-May.

Reviving Old A380s for the Transition

Due to capacity constraints and delivery delays for new A380s, Lufthansa has decided to reactivate its older aircraft. The airline will invest around €140 million to make these planes operational again, in order to meet customer demands for more seats on popular routes.

Conclusion: A Win for Travelers

Beginning in October, Lufthansa will offer A380 connections from Munich and Frankfurt to Los Angeles, Bangkok, Bangalore, and Hyderabad. Passengers can look forward to more frequent flights, increased seating capacity, and premium offerings on the world’s largest passenger aircraft.
